「金融沙盒台灣要馬上做。台灣沒辦法再等了。」立委曾銘宗召開金融監理沙盒（Regulatory Sandbox）公聽會。會中曾銘宗表示，已著手相關提案的連署。

沙盒（Sandbox）一詞來自於軟體工程，在軟體開發過程中，為測試程式碼而建立一個隔離的測試環境，而後衍生至金融領域「監理沙盒」概念，也就是說，為「非」銀行或金融業，提供一個安全試驗的場所，讓業者可以把商品先賣給消費者，並暫時享有「法規豁免」權，讓新創業者不再擔心遊走於金融法規的灰色地帶或被法規限制無法創新。
